Classical Music with The Claremont Ensemble

Music, Myths and Legends.

The Claremont Ensemble present:

An evening by local musicians Becky Gould, viola, and Ron Abramski, piano, featuring Rebecca Clarke’s exquisite Morpheus and her stunning Viola Sonata.

The evening will also include music inspired by folklore and tales of the land by Vaughan Williams, Bridge, Bartok and Elena Katz-Chernin.

Becky has invited local young musicians to open the concert, giving a spotlight to the wealth of talent we have here on the Wirral.

The evening will open with young musicians and their performances at 7:30 then a short comfort break will commence, with the main concert starting around 8:00.

The concert should be finished by 9. Please feel free to stay for Q&A about the programme and to meet the musicians after the concert.

The venue is situated in Brookfield Gardens on the site of the old Unitarian Church. Access from the street is via a flight of steps with, currently, no ramped access for wheelchairs. Getting there: Train: West Kirby train station is a 4 minute walk away with regular trains on the Wirral line. By Car: The Arts Centre is located halfway down a residential road in the centre of West Kirby. If you are driving to attend we kindly ask that you park your car at the West Kirby Concourse car park, which is a 3 minute walk from the arts centre. The residential road that The Arts Centre is on has limited spaces and should be left available for residents.

Licensed bar available.

Parking is available for free at West Kirby Concourse car park which is a one minute walk from the Arts Centre. Residents of the road struggle for car parking space and we'd appreciate it if visitors to the arts centre didn't add to the parking issues the road experiences. Thank you!
