Social Distancing measures at West Kirby Art Centre

From May21st 2021 the following measures will be in place…

Room sanitisation

The building will be fully sanitised before the event. All tables, chairs and touched surfaces will be wiped down. In addition, an air cleaning/filtering system will be in operation. As well as filtering the air during the performance, this system will fill the building with ozone when it is not in use (overnight). This treatment will nullify any viruses that might otherwise be present.

Arrival and Designated Tables

All parties will have allocated tables arrange in socially distanced ‘bubbles’. On arrival, parties/attendees will need to check in at the gazebo that will be set up outside the main entrance. Parties will then be shown to their designate table at which they will be stay. Face masks are to be worn on entry and while transitioning to tables but may be removed once sitting down. (Face masks will be available in case anyone forget to bring their own).

The toilet facilities will be open but no more than two people at a time may enter the toilet suite. A one-way system will be in operation. To reach the toilets, attendees will be required to exit by the main door and proceed around the side of the building to enter the toilet from the rear. They will then be required to exit into the main hall via the door next to the stage. To avoid queues for the toilets, there will be no designated toilet breaks and those requiring the toilets may use them at any time during the evening – even during the performances.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage will be served at tables. Attendees are requested not to go to the bar but to order their drinks via mobile phones from the tables. Instructions for how to do this will be available on each table.

Parking is available for free at West Kirby Concourse car park which is a one minute walk from the Arts Centre. Residents of the road struggle for car parking space and we'd appreciate it if visitors to the arts centre didn't add to the parking issues the road experiences. Thank you!
