“Beardy Folk On Tour” features artists appearing at Beardy Folk Festival in June 2022. We’re delighted to welcome Wet The Tea and Callum Gilligan to West Kirby Arts Centre on Friday 18th March 2022.
Wet The Tea
Wet The Tea are a three piece multi instrumental band with traditional Irish music roots as well as many other musical influences including bluegrass, English folk music and modern elements to create something a little different. Their performance is packed with original songs and traditional tune sets.
Calum Gilligan
Born in Galloway, Scotland and now based in Liverpool, Calum writes a subtle blend of Scottish, Irish and American folk music with influences ranging from Woody Guthrie and Christy Moore, to contemporary folk artists such as Kris Drever and Kate Rusby. His lyrics form the heart of his music, with melodic guitar and powerful vocals carrying the words aloft.
