with Julie Aube

We welcome back Luke Jackson but as a bonus he will be performing with his friend Julie Aube an exciting Canadian singer songwritter.

A one-off collaboration between the UK and Canada, and two exceptional solo artists presented in a double bill over five UK dates, in intimate venues.

The show feature solo sets from both artists, plus unique collaboration performances throughout the night, and a memorable show for both audiences and artists.

This tour featuring Luke Jackson and Julie Aubé had to be rescheduled twice since 2020, and finally happened in Canada in April this year to great success, with Luke and Julie winning over audiences across New Brunswick - this unique collaboration returns to the UK in September.

Bios

Award-winning musician, Luke Jackson, has now released five studio albums and a live recording and tours widely throughout the UK, Europe and North America. Jackson is an accomplished performer who impresses from the outset and takes his audience on a journey with songs telling stories of hope, sorrow, love and melancholy via the styles of folk, roots, blues, Americana and soul.

Julie Aubé is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Moncton, NB (Canada). In addition to her solo projects, Julie is well-known as a member of the much-loved band Les Hay Babies. On the heels of the global pandemic, her new album Contentement (September 2022 release), is inspired by a contemplation on isolation and recognition. Like sixties icons Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell and Buffy Sainte-Marie, she notes how universal and revolutionary themes of that era such as love, peace and happiness remain relevant in 2022.
