We are pleased to welcome Mark Sebastian and The Poor Valley Marauders to West Kirby Arts Centre.
The band consists of:
Mark Sebastian D’Lacey
Mark has been on the road as a professional musician, vocalist and actor, for 44 years. He has won international acclaim as a member of Kid Creole and the Coconuts, and with South American tours of the Who’s ‘Tommy’ and as a singer/songwriter in his own right as well as frontman for many other outfits performing with a vocal ability that sees him able to perform songs in any genre, from soul to swing and opera to rock and everything in between. Outstanding original material with a brand new EP ‘Gypsy Soul’ now released.
As frontman/writer for Sebastian and the Poor Valley Marauders, he has once again reinvented himself and his musical direction.
Johnny Larsen
Johnny is a Liverpool based self-employed Musician / Vocalist. He attained his B-Tech National Diploma in Popular Music at Liverpool Community College. A popular & versatile performer, Johnny’s intuitive playing brings a warmth to the overall PVM style of music…..
Jake Simon
Years ago, after a garage clear-out, Jake unearthed his late fathers Premier drum kit. Immediately, happy memories of watching his Dad practising on those very drums flooded back. He cleaned ‘em down, set ‘em up and began to play.
After years of doing ‘the circuit’ with various bands (ironically one with Mark, long ago) Jake is more than happy to be involved in performing original songs again.
This time with the PVM’s.
Steven Bonacio
Steven is a Bassist/Producer from New York City and has performed thousands of shows worldwide in almost every genre of music.
Steven relocated to the UK earlier this year immediately joining Sebastian and the Poor Valley Marauders after being seen in Birkenhead sitting in with a band in a pub.
Best known for his work with an underground American band called Blow Up Hollywood.
Alison
Alison studied Performing Arts at Liverpool Hope University and went on to tour in various musicals around the UK, including the well known Liverpool play Blood Brothers. She performed in pantomimes for many years at the Epstein Theatre; and her love of country music has brought her into the Poor Valley Marauders.
